Wescan Goldfields Inc. (TSXV: WGF) has staked a new 1,852-hectare claim, the Lindsay Lake Project, within Saskatchewan's historic La Ronge Gold Belt. The Property sits just 7.1 kilometres south of the past-producing Komis Gold Mine and adds to Wescan's existing land package in the belt, which also includes the Company's Fork Lake, Jojay Lake, and Munro Lake properties.
The La Ronge Gold Belt is one of Saskatchewan's most prospective gold districts, host to numerous past-producing mines and gold deposits. Despite its production history, the belt remains significantly underexplored recently underscored by exploration success at the nearby past-producing Contact Lake mine.

Geology & Exploration Potential
The Lindsay Lake Project covers the same La Ronge metavolcanic rocks that host gold mineralization at the Komis Gold Mine and account for the majority of known gold occurrences across the belt. The claim also captures a prospective contact where these metavolcanic rocks meet a large granodiorite intrusive body a geological boundary known to focus mineralizing fluids and localize gold-bearing veins elsewhere in the La Ronge Gold Belt.
The combination of favourable host rocks, a prospective intrusive contact, improved rock exposure, and strong access leads the Company to consider the Property highly prospective for gold mineralization.
Note: exploration success on adjacent or nearby properties does not guarantee that similar mineralization exists on the Lindsay Lake Project.
Access & Planned Exploration
The Property benefits from excellent access, located only 1.8 kilometres from the Komis Mine access road and approximately 4 kilometres from Highway 102. A forest fire that burned through the area in the summer of 2025 removed vegetation and ground cover, and the Company expects this to significantly improve rock exposure for prospecting and geological mapping going forward.
Wescan intends to prospect the Property as part of its broader 2026 exploration program across its La Ronge Gold Belt land package.
