Wescan Appoints Manager of Exploration

M. F. (Moe) Lindsay, President of Wescan Goldfields Inc. (“Wescan” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. David Power-Fardy P. Geo has been appointed as Manager of Exploration effective April 26, 2007. Mr. Power-Fardy brings a wealth of international and Canadian exploration experience to the company and will greatly enhance the Wescan team. Mr. Power-Fardy is a professional Geologist with over 30 years experience in the mineral industry.
